Introducing Zavier Taylor

Zavier Taylor is an advanced, industry-focused dancer with experience across multiple styles, specializing in hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary. Known for bringing strong energy into every class and rehearsal, Zavier pushes dancers to grow both technically and creatively while keeping training fun, motivating, and welcoming for everyone involved.

After dancing for almost 10 years and training at a professional level for the past 2 years, Zavier has continued to develop a deep passion for both performance and choreography. What started as a love for movement quickly turned into a passion for creating, leading, and bringing people together through dance. Recently stepping further into choreography, Zavier has focused on building a creative environment where dancers feel confident, inspired, and free to express themselves.

Along with teaching and building a creative community, Zavier also serves as a coach for the Carencro High School Dazzlers, helping young dancers grow in both skill and confidence. Zavier also had the opportunity to perform during the Super Bowl LX festivities, further gaining experience in the professional dance industry.

With dreams of becoming a tour and commercial-style dancer, Zavier hopes to continue expanding creatively, inspiring others through movement, and creating opportunities for dancers to connect, grow, and do what they love most.

Who makes up your art circle?

My art circle is made up of dancers, choreographers, creatives, friends, and people who simply love to move and express themselves. I enjoy surrounding myself with people who are passionate, supportive, and open to growing together through dance and creativity.

How do you expand your art circle?

I expand my art circle by taking classes, teaching, choreographing, connecting with people through social media, and being open to meeting new creatives. I love bringing people together and creating spaces where everyone feels comfortable doing what they love.

What value do you see in having a creative community?

Having a creative community is important because it gives people support, inspiration, motivation, and connection. Being around other creatives helps you grow, gain confidence, and push yourself artistically while also learning from others’ experiences and ideas.

How does your artistic approach contribute to your community?

My artistic approach is centered around energy, passion, and togetherness. I want people to feel confident, included, and free when they dance with me or learn my choreography. I try to create an environment where people can express themselves, grow as performers, and enjoy creating together.
