Who makes up your art circle?

My art circle is a vibrant mix of creatives, musicians, visual artists, dancers, educators, and choreographers. But honestly, the heart of it all is my dance students. They’re the ones who push me to take risks, stay curious, and keep evolving.

How do you expand your art circle?

I grow my art circle by staying open to meaningful connections through collaborating with other artists, chatting with educators, or soaking in what’s happening around me. I’m always on the lookout for those moments that spark something new or push me in a different direction. Every interaction has the potential to inspire, and I try to lean into that as much as possible.

How does your artistic approach contribute to your community?

My approach to art is all about giving young people a space to express themselves. I want them to feel free to be creative without worrying about being judged. It’s important to me to create a safe environment where they can work through what they are feeling and experiencing. I try to show them that art isn’t just something to look at, but it can be a tool they can use to connect, communicate, and figure out who they are.
